Phil Ball and others will be at the Festival of Speed this year.  Phil will be preaching there on Sunday morning.

A man is in bed with his wife when there is a rat-a-tat-tat on the door. He rolls over and looks at his clock, and it's half past three in the morning. "I'm not getting out of bed at this time", he thinks, and rolls over. Then, a louder knock follows. "Aren't you going to answer that?" says his wife. So he drags himself out of bed, and goes downstairs. He opens the door and there is man standing at the door. It didn't take the homeowner long to realize the man was drunk.

A work colleague posted this YouTube video and I thought I'd share it - as a bit of a test... The clip is of the last 15 laps of a 2 hour endurance race at Bayford Meadows in Kent, June 2006. The battle is between me (white ish crash helmet) and another karter (orange helmet)... unfortunately he got past with two corners to go to the flag - close finish... loads of fun...

There are now 24 booked into camp. Pray for all the young people who will be coming to The Track this year. Lucy is still the only girl so pray that more book up.

There has been much a do about lots since the heroic antics at the Northern Maintenance weekend. Thunderchild has gained many more parts including his engine which is now installed. His paint work is looking a little tired and so have decided to give him a bit of a freshen up respray which will be followed by final fitting with a bit of wiring and recommissioning. No photo this month as we decided to do photo's next month in his final finished glory! We now have NEW KART ENGINES Yippeeeeee and praise ye The Lord!
