prayers

tech_no_mo's picture

hi guys i am requesting prayers for kenya as the situation there is very very fragail. There is a lot of confusion. At the moment there is a media shut down and there is alot of tribal division. The actual voting was very democratic and non tribal but it has come to a point that the two main tribes are being pitted aganist each other by their leaders which is not what kenyans need.

Anyway Please pray that the situation calms and God's glory and will be done.

update

the situation has abated abit, though supplies are running out all over the country. People cant buy food because there is nothing to buy. But the leaders seem to be starting to talk.Lets pray that the violence ends.Tomorrow is a day of prayer announced by the national council of churches of kenya. If you could all join i would appreciate it.

PS my sis is ok she took time amid all th turmoil to send me an email telling me not to worry and God was in charge. It made my day

God bless

lightening a load off my heart

i used to imagine how hard the situation in Rwanda was hard to achieve but i do not longer think that. I was talking to my mum (in kenya) this morning and the neighbours that have known you for so many years are the ones that are threatening peoples lives. on the back ground you can only hear gun shots and thats scare me. Its been days since pople have ventured out of the house and according to her its relatively calm now so they tell me that my small sis has gone to get food as food is running out and she has not returned. It fills you with more worry. I live on the phone at the moment.

To top it all of my grandad was called to glory in his sleep this morning. We have a saying in my mother tounge- trouble comes in three's.

Its hard not to judge people and i hope i do not, but what i am sure is that God's will will be done and His power shine through these trouble times.

well let me stop boring you guys God bless

Moses, you will bore nobody

Moses, you will bore nobody with a heart or soul with your details of the troubles in Kenya!! Keep us up to date with the family situation on this blog........it must be really worrying.

Only if people do not judge will there be peace......so I pray you can spread this message to Kenya in a small way by phone.

Bless you and keep you, and yours
