Mindless mutterings of the Mechanically insane

There has been much a do about lots since the heroic antics at the Northern Maintenance weekend. Thunderchild has gained many more parts including his engine which is now installed. His paint work is looking a little tired and so have decided to give him a bit of a freshen up respray which will be followed by final fitting with a bit of wiring and recommissioning. No photo this month as we decided to do photo's next month in his final finished glory! We now have NEW KART ENGINES Yippeeeeee and praise ye The Lord! We have 6 Honda GX160 engines one of which has been fitted to a chassis with a moderate amount of fettling required. They will also require a few tweaks such as removing the governor, derestricting the exhaust and fitting stronger valve spring to make them more suitable for The Track. So a fair bit to do but worth the effort.This was funded with the remainder of the generous donation from Langbaurgh Kart Club. Mark
